WHY SHOULD YOU CARE FOR BLADE SETS - AND HOW?

Both your customer and machine will thank you if you clean and care for your blade set. This is evident in a consistent cutting performance and an up to threefold extension of the service life!

WHY?

Regular cleaning and care ensure that your hairstyling appliance will enjoy a long service life, particularly the blade set. Lubrication and care reduce friction, heat development and wear associated with the blade set and also protect it against environmental influences. Neglecting care increases the stress on the machine, leading to wear on the drive and gears and a reduction in battery life and the cutting performance.

HOW?

Most of our mains/battery hair clippers are equipped with the "Quick Change" blade set rapid changing system. This quick change system allows you to remove the blade set simply and quickly from the machine.

The blade set should be cleaned with a brush after every haircut where possible and lubricated.Fit the blade set to the appliance again following lubrication. Please unscrew the blade set with a screwdriver in the case of hair clippers which are not fitted with the quick change system. Clean the top and bottom blades with a brush and lubricate the cutting surfaces. Screw the top and bottom blades onto the appliance again following lubrication.The machine should then be operated for approx. 10 seconds to distribute the oil evenly across the cutting surface.Our blade care videos show you exactly how to do it. Repair and maintenance

Our Service Center can also be availed of for your repairs after the guarantee period has expired. In addition, our experienced Service staff will be happy to provide you with advice and assistance. They will answer your questions, offer you technical support and ensure that any repairs to your appliance are realised at as low a cost to you as possible.

A good quality pair of hair clippers will not only save you a lot of money and time, they will also last you many years if you look after them properly.

If your clippers are in frequent use, you really need to ensure they are in good working order.

Some basic care and maintenance every now and again will keep your clippers performing to their best.

Quality Assurance

The guarantee period is governed by the statute of limitations on material defects stipulated in the national law of the state in which the appliance was purchased. However, the maximum period is 3 years. During the guarantee period, we shall remedy all defects free of charge which can be proven to be based on material or manufacturing faults (see guarantee card).

Returns And Exchanges

At Shaver Shop we believe we should offer the customer the best possible advice and customer service. If something that you have purchased at Shaver Shop isn’t right or if you change your mind, we are happy to accept a return.

Returns Policy:

Although we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, we can refund the purchase price or exchange products purchased at Shaver Shop subject to the following conditions:

  • - Returned within 21 days of purchase with your proof of purchase
  • - Item must be in original condition (including packaging) and not used
  • - Gift cards are not eligible for a refund or exchange if you change your mind

If you request a refund, the original purchase price will be refunded to you using the original payment method, once we have received the returned item back and confirmed that it meets conditions above.

Faulty Products:

If something that you have purchased is unsafe; incorrectly described; doesn’t do what we said it would; or has a major problem that would have stopped you from buying the item if you had known about it you can return this for a full refund or exchange.

If the problem is not major or can be easily fixed, we will repair the item within a reasonable time or replace it.

If you wish to return a product during a trial period offered by a manufacturer for reasons other than the product being faulty, you need to follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
